Genevieve Onuchukwu was a student, and later a colleague, at a school I was teaching at. After completing high school she did a volunteer placement in Kenya, and the rest, as they say, is history. In 2010 Genevieve (or Genna as she is better known) founded Gennarosity Abroad.

Gennarosity Abroad has created ongoing employment opportunities for local people in Kenya in a number of ways from building the facilities through to being teachers or managers at Grandma Jenny’s Training Centre.

In 2019, Gennarosity Abroad began classes at Grandma Jenny's Training Centre to help empower men in the Karunga community. Collaborations continued with New Hope Children's Centre, which began an abandoned babies intake program. As well as beginning a partnership with Rhonda Maternity Clinic to help reduce rates of mother and infant mortality.

Every donation Gennarosity Abroad receives goes directly to funding and managing the projects of the charity.

My beautiful and inspiring friend Natalie Isaacs is the founder of 1 Million Women. Natalie set out to build a global movement of women, and empower them to act on climate change through the way they live. I was privileged to sit around the table as her dream was shared with myself and some friends over a decade ago and am proud to support Natalie and the incredible work she is doing for our planet.

A % sales will go to support The Tara Hunt Fellowship which offers a young person the opportunity to undertake communications training to expand their skills and knowledge on climate action and to learn how to effectively communicate the challenges of climate change, encourage solutions and empower others to act.

The Australian Kidney Foundation provides vital resources and services to people at risk of, or affected by, kidney disease and other kidney conditions. They work with communities around Australia to increase their awareness of kidney disease and better manage their kidney health. They also work tirelessly to help primary care health professionals to improve their ability to detect kidney disease earlier.
