Teacher stress is defined as "the experience by a teacher of unpleasant, negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, tension, frustration or depression, resulting from some aspect of their work." Burnout, on the other hand, is seen as “a state of physical,

emotional, and mental exhaustion that results from long-term involvement in work situations that are emotionally demanding."
